Anthony O’Brien
Managing Director
Anthony is a Class-A licensed builder with a Bachelor of Construction Management and Economics. Anthony’s early career saw him working for large commercial construction companies in Sydney and Canberra. His building experience over more than 25 years is backed by his passion for Canberra and a thriving construction community.
With determination and commitment that comes with leading a family business, Anthony has a wealth of technical and management expertise. He instils confidence and encourages a personable and collaborative working environment, proven by RAM’s longstanding relationships with their clients.
Sai Abbaraju
Chief Financial Officer
Sai is an experienced and dedicated finance professional, drawing on his decades of experience within the construction sector. He has also advised various industries, so is well-placed to understand the power of strategic financial advice.
Between 2001 and 2010, Sai worked with construction companies in Dubai where he was involved in a number of high-profile, high-rise building projects using innovative construction techniques and delivery models. During this time Sai was exposed to fast-paced environments where he learned to think on his feet and to collaborate to solve problems.
As a member of CPA Australia, Sai brings a level of proficiency and insight that is unmatched. Since 2019, Sai has been providing strategic guidance to RAM on risk management, finance structuring and overall financial health.
Simon Frowd
General Manager – Civil & Landscape
Simon is a highly experienced construction professional with over 28 years of experience in the Canberra construction industry. He aptly manages projects from concept through to delivery, and has worked as both contractor and client, which means he can consider all party’s needs and expectations. Given his familiarity in working for and with government, he has an acute understanding of client needs and contract management.
Having managed teams of up to 50 staff and subcontractors to deliver large-scale landscape projects, Simon can provide educated advice on all facets of a project, from site through to management. He understands the requirements of both the design teams and construction teams, so is able to successfully provide a link between the two.

Our core team consists of 35 full-time staff members, supported by 110-plus subcontractors. Each division is managed by highly qualified and experienced project managers.
