“I have had the opportunity to work with Anthony O’Brien over the last Three years. Anthony, as a Director of RAM Constructions was selected through a competitive open public tender process to deliver Affordable Housing. He was selected based on experience and a proven capacity to work in partnership with Government in order to provide affordable housing through LDA developments within the OwnPlace project.
In that time he has become a leader and expert in the field of affordable housing no more has this been apparent with his commitment and drive to deliver innovate and affordable built form outcomes for the territories first home buyers.
More notably, his ethical standards and integrity have been exceptional and this has been evident in his diligence and attention to detail in both the communication to Government and those who have chosen to build a home with him.
Anthony is a leader of the future and I wish both him and the business he leads all the very best at any challenge that may be faced.”

“RAM Constructions have successfully undertaken construction projects at the ANU involving a range of disciplines including lighting and electrical installation, off form concrete walls, concrete and unit paving, metal work and soft landscaping. I found all RAM’s staff and subcontractors to be highly skilled and efficient in undertaking the works, not only on the site, but also in the administration of the contract. They have established systems for Work Health and Safety and Environmental management which are implemented on the site. The projects I have been involved with have been delivered in a timely manner and to a high standard.
My experience with RAM is that they are a professional organisation who commits themselves to their projects and I look forward to working with them in the future.”

“Congratulations to Anthony O’Brien and Simon Frowd of Ram Constructions for their work in overseeing the construction of the Pavilion to house the Canberra Rotary Peace Bell. From the outset both Anthony and Simon approached this community project with a most positive and enthusiastic attitude. The work was completed with attention to detail, it was on time and on budget.
Working with the Architect Fred Kasparek and Landscape designer David Telfer from Redbox Designs the finished pavilion and surrounds looks outstanding and beautifully connects now to the original Lennox Gardens.
Based on the response that I have had from those people enjoying the Peace Park and taking the time to ring the Canberra Rotary Peace Bell we can say that this animated monument is already a real benefit to our city. At these difficult times it is important to take a moment of reflection and appreciate how lucky we are in this country to enjoy the peace, fellowship and civility that we can do.
While I was recently away in Europe I was able to ring the World Peace Bells in Berlin and Warsaw. I visited the Peace Bell located within the compound of the United Nations Headquarters in Vienna. I can say that our Peace Bell has the best location, the best-looking pavilion and now the best landscaping and is being rung more often and by more people than any of those three Peace Bells.
Again thank you to Ram Constructions and to Anthony and Simon for your cooperation, dedication and attention to detail for a job well done”.
